Tempera & Acrylic Paintings

-I chose this artist because I love how there are different layers of paint.
-I incorporated this technique into my artwork by layering a lot of paint onto the girls face.

Techniques: Value && Monochromatic color scheme
-I will incorporate these techniques in my painting by showing lots of value and well, using a monochromatic color scheme.
-I chose this artist because I love how she shows a lot of value. I think she does a really good job with monochromatic.

-I chose this artist because her artwork is very interesting. I love how she did the trees and how some are light and others are spooky and dark.
-I will incorporate these techniques by making parts of my painting really light and others really dark.

The paintings are a cross between the hyper-colourful black-light posters of the 60′s and the stylized figures found in Manga comics.
